Go-Karting at The Raceway, Oldbury
For 2010, we decided to hold our first corporate event for the Midlands region, therefore a go-karting event was held at The Raceway. This provided a chance for staff to network with customers and enjoy a fantastic evening together.
At the centre in Oldbury, West Midlands, all visitors were guided through a briefing by Paul, Manager at the centre, before being divided into teams for a challenging hour of endurance racing. A buffet dinner was also provided with drinks to be enjoyed by all and all attendees were presented with medals at the end of the evening.
Winning teams for most laps during the Endurance race are:
1st place: Ben Hamer (Babcock), Craig McCulluch (Birwelco)
2nd place: Chris Richards (R.STAHL), Bryan Cantle (West Supply)
3rd place: Dave Alston (Petreco), Alex Jackson (Wolf Safety)
We are already looking forward to next years' event which we are sure will be another excellent evening!
